My submission for the ICRC8 "Sketch and Stitch"
As you can see, the strawberry, the cherry, the olive and the sparkles have been lovingly embroidered.
I have placed them on crimped paper and then placed it on cuttlebug embossed gold card.
The sentiment is heat embossed in gold.
All stamps have been created by me and stamped o teh fabric using Stazon ink. The gorgeous gemstones are from a local market.

EMBOSS RESIST PHOTO FRAMES
Here is a photo frame I made last week using the fabulous emboss resist technique. the stamp I used is the "Cling Jumbo Peony set" from Stampendous. I used "Victorian Velvet", "Worn Lipstick", and "Crushed Olive" distress inks from TimHoltz. The effect, I thought, is spectaculour!
P.S. : The photos of the couple were taken by me!
Here is another frame I made...also using the emboss resist technique. Here I used the lace stamp from Hero Arts for the background along with "Tim Holtz Vintage photo" distress ink .
the flowers were made by distressing white vellum with "Vintage Photo" distress ink and manipulating it into shape.
It turned out to be the perfect frame for this perfect picture of us friends!

LAST TWO WEEKS OF CLASS...
I haven't posted for a while as I have been unwell..
Here's what we have been upto in the last couple of weeks..
Here we tore pieces of paper into small bits and created a collage .
Jun made this card for her husband's birthday!
Amy decided to make a picture of her favourite instrument...the violin.
Fabulous job..don't you think?
This simple accordian fold pop-up card was made by my 5 year old little student, Jaivardhan.
Despite the hearts, he really enjoyed making it! Only, he seemed a little confused as to whether he wanted to give it to his mother or his friend!!

Here we made a window pop-up card. This project was inspired by a project that I saw on www.splitcoaststampers.com
Unfortunately, I don't have the exact link, but you should be able to find it in the tutorials/resources section of their website.
I simplified it to allow my kids to do it easily.
Love the way each one is just a little bit diferent!
