The ric-rac die is from MFT and the sentiment is by Danielle Johnson, cut with my spellbinders label die.
Inks are Pear Tart and Lady Bug from Memento.

I made this really fun card for a very very dear uncle who used to have  a beautiful blue Lambretta for the longest time! As a child I have so many fun memories of riding on his scooter!!
This stamp set was just too perfect!
He really loved the card and that makes me really happy!

The scooter and one sentiment are from the Paper Smooches Spiffy Scooters stamp set. The birthday sentiment is from Stampendous and the background stamp is fro Stampin' Up.
I added a white gemstone on the light for some fun and dimension!

I took a while to figure this one out, but here is my card for the Case Study challenge no 138. and the Friday Mashup 107 Challenge showcasing Sunshine.

The stamp that I heat embossed with White embossing powder is from the 'Meadow' stamp set from Inkadinkado.

For the background I used water colours from Camel and then intensified the colours with Tim Holtz Crushed Olive distress ink  and Summer Sky ink from Memento.
I made the sun's rays by masking them one at a time  and colouring over with dandelion ink from Memento.
I think the effect looks lovely and peaceful.

Polaroid fun!

Happy Wednesday!!!
I LOVE the nostalgia of polaroid photos, so today I have a card  today for my weekly post at
Craft Adda that indulges this nostalgia!

To make the Polaroid frame, I used my square nestabilties die on white cardstock.
I was inspired by this blog post by writescrapbook .com.
I then cut around it to create the frame.

I stamped the cupcakes from the Stampendous 'Hey there cupcake' stamp set  with teal zeal and summer sky ink from Memento and cut them out.

The background is embossed with a Cuttlebug dots embossing folder.
The background stripes are from Impression Obsession, stamped with Memories sand ink .
I then put it all together using some double sided foam tape to add dimension.
The  fabulous sentiment is from Hero Arts.

I'm really happy about the way this card has turned out!!
Try it...its really easy!

Here is my take on this weeks Friday Mashup challenge sketch.

Here I have heat embossed the background with the 'houndstooth' background stamp from Impression Obsession and dry embossed the square panel with my cuttlebug Happy Birthday embossing folder.

One Layer Card inspired by a film

Good morning everyone!
Happy Wednesday to you!!
Today I have a one layer card for you which I created using the 'Masking' technique and heat embossing.

To make this card, I first stamped and heat embossed the  greeting, buildings, clouds and hot air balloon from the 'Metropolis' stamp set from Paper Smooches, with black opaque embossing powder from American Crafts.
I then stamped the images on a scap paper and cut them out.
After placing them on the corressponding images, I then stamped the background with the  background 'map' stamp from Impression Obsession and heat embossed it with American Crafts blue embossing powder.

I then coloured in the buildings and the hot air balloon with my Faber Castell sketch pens.
Easy Peasy!!!
Looks WOW, doesn't it!!
Don't tell anyone how easy it is...Try it!!

I am entering this card for the 'Less is more' One layer Week 115 create a one layer card inspired by a film challenge.
the film I chose is 'Around the World in 80 days'.

I am also entering it for the Dynamic Duos challenge.
