Tequila and Lemons!

I bought this rubber stamp from Verses rubber stamps, some time ago, but hadn't used it till now.
Last night I challenged myself to make a card using this stamp, for the Craft Adda blog today.

As I did not have a an appropriate image, I decided to draw the bottle around the wordings and cut it out. I then drew the shot glass and salt shaker and cut it out and popped it up with 3D tape.
the background is made with the lemon stamp from Stampendous' 'Little fruit' stamp set.

A fun way to enhance the card, don't you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy your evening!

Colour Block

Hi all!
I have tried out a technique today for the first time!
I have created a background using cour blocks.

To create this background, I simply punched our squares in different sizes and colours and adhered them them to a piece of black card stock to create a pattern.

My focal image of a vintage car, is a free digital stamp from Yolanda Derstine.

The sentiments are from mft stamps and Stampendous.

Simple, retro, fun...isn't it!!

Have a great day!

Solar Recharge

What a productive day this is turning out to be!!!! I am having such a fun crafty day!!

Here's what I have come up with for the Friday Mashup 'Beach with masking' challenge.

The background is  Hero Arts and Studio Calico cling stamp 'Starburst Background'.
The focal image is from Stampendous, and the sentiment is from the Technique Tuesday 'Eat Chocolate' stamp set.

I added a spot of bling in her hair for fun!

Inks are Onyx black from Versafine and Canary from ColorBox.

I coloured the image using  Camel water colour cakes.

Am also entering it for the Stampendous July-American Summer challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and being part of my journey!
Have a bright and sunny day!!

Vintage Love Birds

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday!
Today, I am here to showcase an awesome embellishment made by Khyati!

She has made them with  Craft moulds and Clay and I painted them over with some  pearlescent acrylic paint.
I also added some white dimensional faux enamel as an accent.

The sentiment is from Verses Rubber Stamps and is heat embossed in a matching metallic embossing powder from Stampendous.

Do look for more of these embellishments at the Craft Adda store!

Stamps are from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's 'Bright Idea' stamp set.
Inks are from Memento.

Good night!

Celebrate Everyday!

I absolutely love this sentiment from the Hero Arts  CL498 stamp set!
It makes me happy everytime I use it!
Today I have used it along with another  favourite stamp set from Hero Arts..Friendly flags.

I am playing two challenges today with this card...

I started by stamping the flags onto coloured paper with Memento inks.
I then cut them out, ran them through my Xyron sticker machine and then put them together as a bunting.
The background is Hero Arts woodblock 'Newspaper Background' stamped with memories Sand ink.

Thanks so very much for stopping by!!
Enjoy your day!

Can I give you a hand?

Here I am in the middle of the night again!

As I didn't have the appropriate Paper Smooches Stamps, I decided to use a couple of free digital images and use the sentiment from the Paper Smooches 'Helping Hands' stamp set to go with it.
It's all about being creative, right?!

I have used Stampendous 'dot border' in summer sky and Brilliance white for the  really soft background, and Memento's Bahama Blue ink for the sentiment.

I love the way it has turned out...a fun card for a friend who is feeling bit down, maybe?!

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Good night!

It's your day...

Inspiraton seems to strike only in the mddle of the night these days!!
Here I am with another card at 1.30 a.m.!

Today I decided to play with some Paper smooches free digis and make a card for the
CASology Cue Word 'Free' challenge and the Addicted to CAS 'take flight' challenge.

I put two digis together..the critter and the leaf... and added the sentiment and printed it out onto the cardstock.
I then coloured the critter and the leaf with faber castell colour pencils and added a little shading on the side for dimension.
I also drew the clouds for added fun! :-)

Quick and easy...
