Casing Stamping Mathilda

For my second post this evening, I am casing a card made by Godelieve Tijskens...aka Stamping Mathilda.
She is the most amazing card maker and someone who has helped me so much to grow and continues to inspire me with every blogpost !

Here are her set of masculine cards...

and here are mine...

The stamps I have used are from Hero Arts (Newspaper background and Have a Donut), Paper Smooches'Cyber Cafe',  Lawn Fawn 'clear to see', Lawn Fawn (Dad's Day), and Stampendous (Birthday sayings) stamp sets.

To create the illusion of glass, I stamped the background on off white card stock and then stamped and embossed the spectacles over it. i love the pop of the red on the cups...nice a cheery!

Thanks, Godeieve, for inspiring always!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a good night!

You rock dad!

Hey everyone!

Its fun, unfussy and to the point: and can pretty much be used for any occasion!
Stamps are from the Lawn Fawn 'Dad's Day' stamp set and the mft 'masculine graphic tee stamp and die set'.
I think it just pops on the kraft card stock don't you?!

Cocktail glasses

Hi Everyone!
Today I have a card that I am very proud of!
I made it using the memory box  party glasses die

To add colour, I created a panel of cardstock using water and transparent photo inks. As you can see, the effect is amazing!

I then made it for a variety of occasions, with sentiments from Hero Arts, Kaisercraft and Verses Rubber Stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Battery recharge!

Another fun card for the CASology 'CONTRAST' challenge this evening...

The stamps are from Technique Tuesday's 'Eat Chocolate' stamp set, which I stamped on red card, fussy cut and popped up with foam dots!
Such fun!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a good night...I'm finally off to bed!

Thumb's Up!

I am submitting this card for the Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge tonight.

Here I have used the Paper Smooches 'Helping Hands' stamp set for the focal image as well as the sentiments. I created a background using three different sentiments which all convey the same message.
to add interest, I popped up the focal image on a little red square.
I added the panel onto kraft card, and whole card popped!

I think its pretty cool, don't you?!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Sunflower Shades!

I love the Simon Says Stamp 'Lets have a Laugh' Wednesday Challenge this week.

Here's what I have for submission...I think it would surely draw a smile on a cold, gloomy day!

The flower is from  Spellbinders Shapeabilities and as I was playing around with it, I decided to add these gorgeous shiny gemstones and a smile! It changed my whole perspective.
The cheery sentiment is from Hero Arts which I stamped with Versafine Habanero ink.

I know I would smile if I received this card...it makes me smile just looking at it!

Hope it makes you smile too!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

I am also entering this for the CASology cue card CONTRAST challenge.

Neon Fun!

Hello!
Today I am playing the CASology cue card CONTRAST challenge with this card.

I found these gorgeous neon coloured felt button on a recent trip to the button and ribbon market in South Mumbai, where I live.
I have been itching to use them, and I am happy to say I love the pop of the bright neon colous on the white card.
I decided to place the sentiment at a angle to add interest, and pop up both the layer as well as the buttons with 3D tape for fun!

The sentiment which is from Stampendous, has been heat embossed in gold.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Picture perfect!

Today for my official post on the Craft Adda Blog, I have this fun and cheerful card!

I am playing the CASology  week 78 Cue card DOT challenge  and the Simon Says stamp"Emboss It " Wednesday  challenge with this card.

This darling stamp is from MFT stamps. The sentiments are from MFT and Hero Arts.
I did not have the word  "you are", so I partially inked up the sentiment 'you're the best' from the Hero Arts 'Everyday Sayings' stamp set and added it to the 3D tape popped up sentiment fro MFT stamps.
The background stamp is from Stampin'Up (I think...its really old!) and the stars are die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and embossed with a small dots embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Heat embossing fun

Hey everyone! Today I have three cards made with silver metallic card stock.
I have used the heat embossing technique to embellish these cards.
As this cardstock has a smooth and shiny surface, Brilliance Archival inks are perfect to use on it.

On the first card the peacock feather (Stampendous woodblock) is embossed in white and gold and the sentiment stamped in Brilliance 'Graphite black' Archival ink. The sentiment is also from Stampendous.

For the second card, I have used a woodblock stamp from Hampton Art...Janetdunndesign and the sentiment from Stampendous. Both have been heat embossed with American Crafts embossing powders.

For this card, I decided to stamp the image ( from Inkadinkado) with 'Graphite Black ' Archival ink from Brilliance and heat emboss just the sentiment and the centres of the flowers with gold embossing powder. I just love the final look!

I am submitting these cards for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge...Emboss it.

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Have a great day!

Records rock!

I just love old Vinyl records, don't you?!
So, I decided to make a card along that theme...

For the Vinyl record, I punched a 13/4" circle(EK success) from black card stock and a 3/4" circle(EK success) from red card stock.  I then punched a hole in the centre of the red circle using my Crop-a-dile and adhered the two together. For the base a cut out a square piece of kraft card with my spellbinders nestabilities and stamped over it with the Stampin' Up woodgrain background stamp.
I distressed all the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.
For the arm of the record player, I used an arrow from the Cottage Cutz valentine heart die.
Finally the sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Be Boppin' stamp set, held together with a music note brad from recollections.

I am entering this card for the CASology  week 78 cue word 'DOT' challenge.

I really enjoyed making this card...I'm sure whoever receives it will enjoy it too!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Hug enclosed

Good Morning Everyone!Today I am playing the Clean&simple sketch challenge.

For this card I used the Simon Says Stamp and Memory box Custom envelopes stamp and die set.
I cut the envelope out of Vellum so that the vellum punched hearts would be visible on the inside.
finally I stamped the sentiment and border from the stamp set onto white card stock, trimmed it and stapled it on.

Bright and cheery don't you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Enjoy your day!
