Sparkle Challenge

I used the Stampendous elegant borders stamp set to create a white heat embossed panel.
I then watercoloured the panel.

I added the Sparkle die cut from Papertrey Ink along with the sentiment from the corresponding stamp set to finish the card.
I also added some 'Sparkle' with Pretty Pink Posh sequins!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Winter wonderland

Hey there!
Of all the christmas cards I made this year, this one is my absolute favourite!

To make this card, I cut a square panel using the Simon Says Stamp stitched squares die and dry embossed it with the Cuttlebug folder.
I then placed the building die cut (from Paper Smooches) on the panel, added a spellbinders shapeabilities leaf, added the sentiment (from Hero Arts) and the card was done!
I adhered some yellow paper behind the windows of the building to bring some warmth to the image.
To me it represents a winter wonderland!

Indian Craft Room Recepie challenge!

Hey there!
There  is still time to play the Indian Craft room recipie challenge and win some awesome prizes from the Craftshop!

To play you have to look at the recipie given below and create a Christmas or new year card or project.

Here is my second dose of inspiration for all you crafters out there!

To make this card, I used patterned paper from the Doodlebug Design Inc. 6"x6" paper pack. I cut an embossed the white wreath using a Cuttlebug die and embossing folder. The tag was cut using an MFT die and heat embossed with snowflakes from an Inkadinkado stamp set. The stocking was cut from patterned paper and paper pieced with white card stock.  I added some gold ribbon and sequins to finish off the card.
The sentiment was stamped in black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder ( a trick I learned from Jennifer Mcguire).

I hope you feel inspired to create!
You can find a lot more inspiration from our DT here on the Indian Craft room page.

Celebrating Gold!

This was a difficult challenge for me...but I finally got it!
I am playing the Paper Smooches 'GOLD' challenge today.
I decided to use the sentiment from the 'scripted sayings' stamp set to create a background and the cocktail 'wise dies' glasses ( cut from shimmery white card stock) as the focal point.
the god heart is dry embossed using  a Cuttlebug folder and I heat embossed two gold stars from the same stamp set onto the vellum. I finished off with some gold and white sequins.

I just love the way it has turned out.

Monochrome with a splash of colour

 Hey there!
I am playing the retrosketches RS#189 challenge with this card.
I decided to play with a monochromatic colour theme with a pop of colour...I was so happy to find this paper pack...I had forgotten I had it! It is the 'Mono Paper Pack' from Paper mania.

I decided to over lay the papers with vellum(..just 'cause I liked the printed paper so much) and stitched the vellum paper on with white embroidery floss.
The flowers  and leaves are made using punches and the sentiment is a peel-off sticker from Anita's.

New roses from Winnie and Walter

Hey there!
I recently received my prize from Winnie and Walter and couldn't wait to play with it!! I just adore these roses die from Winnie and Walter and it seemed really perfect for this sketch.
The sentiment is from Paper smooches 'scripted sayings' stamp set and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.

I just love the muted vintage feel!

I am also playing  The Simon Says Stamp Monday 'Thanks" challenge with this card.

For the second card, I created a Memento ink and watercolour background, added a piece of heat embossed (background stamp from Hero Arts) and added a couple of dry embossed butterfly die cuts with foam tape to add dimension.
I finished the card with a heat embossed sentiment from Hero Arts.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

When I saw this card sketch on retro sketches, I knew I had a chance to use the Darcies stamp set that I had bought last year, but not yet used! I used glossy accents and white enamel accents to make the monster's eye pop! The sentiment is a free digi...unfortunately I didn't save the source so I don't remember where it is from. I will share the the file at the end of the post for those who may want to use it.

I used papers from Craft Adda's Crafttangles Old Paper by Tamara 6"x6" paper pack. I distressed the edges with  Tim Holtz distress ink and added some self adhesive gemstones to finish the card.

Here's wishing you have a monstrously fun weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Black lace and Red roses!

Black lace and red roses...an awesome combination!
I just LOVE these new papers from the 'Old Paper' paper pack by Tamara.
This paper pack is available at Craft Adda..the awesome craft store that fulfills all your art and craft needs!

I used the sketch from the Paper Players to make this card. I cut the circle using Simon Says Stamp Stitched circles die, heat embossed the sentiment from Winnie and Walter and added the bold birthday sentiment (a free digital file which I will share below) with some 3 D tape, to finish the card.
I used extra large mulberry paper roses to add the pop of colour.

Gives you a lovely old world, vintage feel doesnt it?

Good morning!
Today is the 8th day of navratri and the colour of the day is SKY BLUE.
To celebrate this colour, I die cut this cute bow tie from Craft Tangles 'Wild about blue' paper pack (from Craft Adda). The die is from 'Little B'
I popped it up with foam tape onto a panel cut with Simon Says Stamp stitched squares and added a sentiment from Simon Says stamp.
Delicate sequins in blue and white finished my card.
I am playing the Less is More 'Masculine' challenge with this card.

Celebrating PINK- 9 days of Navratri

Hey there!

The sentiment die and stamp is from Simon Says Stamp and I though it lends itself well to this image.
