Let's eat cake

Hello!
For my official Craft Adda post today, I have a fun card using sequin beads...something I have attempted for the first time!

I came a across a picture on Pinterest which jogged my creative juices! I wanted to create an aerial view of layered cake and stand.
I had fun trying it...I think it looks pink and pretty!

To make the cake I used my Spell binders Nestabilities dies to cut three concentric circles and a scalloped circle.
I then used some multi medium matte on the edges to adhere the beads
I finished of the cake with a pretty pink punched sakura flower .
The flower was punched out of a piece of paper which I coloured with Hero Arts neon pink ink.
I also punched out and adhered some cutlery and finished up the card with a sentiment from Stampendous (stamped with memento ink).

I hope I have shaken up your creative juices...have a creative crafty weekend!
Thanks for stopping by..
Have a great day!

Indian Craft room Blog Hop...Patriotic colours with texture.

Hey Everyone!

Welcome to Indian Craft Room's Blog Hop! We are so happy that you have come along to play!

You would have arrived here from Sathya's blog.

The Blog Hop theme is "Indian Flag Colors with a Twist... use  Textures".

By Textures we mean Texture paste, Embossing paste, Embossing powders, Dry/Wet embossing, Material textures by burlap, Cheesecloth, Drywall tape.

Any visible/ prominent textures.

This blog hop is open for cards / Altered items/ 3D projects/ Tags (Standard size, not less than 6"x3")

Here is my take on the challenge this month.

I started by heat embossing the sentiment from 'fiskars' on a 5.45"x3.45" piece  of  textured white cardstock, using Hero Arts White embossing powder.

I then sprayed the paper with water and dropped Sakra koi watercolours onto the wet paper and allowed them to spread.
I then sprayed some water on the card base and added some colour there too.
Once both the card base and cardstock panel dried, I assembled the card and added some sequins to finish.
The textures I used...textured card stock and heat embossing.

Hey there!
For my official Craft adda post today,
I am using the awesome CrafTangles  'Felicity' 6"x6" paper pack  from Craft Adda,

This is one of my favourite paper packs...especially the chalkboard paper!
I used a sketch  for the Retrosketches challenge #197 for this card. The frame is cut using Spellbinders nestabilities dies and the number dies are Avery Elle's numbered balloons.
The heat embossed sentiment is from Hero Arts and
I finished off the card with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins.

You Nailed it!

 Hey!
I am playing the  Less is More Week 257 challenge with this card.
The challenge was to make a CAS card using Neutral colours.

After a little thought, I pulled out this stamp set from MFT. I used Memento Desert Sand and Brilliance coffee bean inks to stmap the images.
To create  interest, I die cut the panels using Simon Says Stamp stitched squares dies. I also punched out  a few circles and, stamped a nail image (from the stamp set) and stacked them up to create some height and make them look like nails.

I really like the way this card turned out!
I hope you like it too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Happy birthday to you!

Hello all!
I am playing the retrosketches#196 challenge with this card today!

The sentiment is from one of my favourite stamp sets from Hero Arts.

Perfect card for a rockstar chick??!!

50 and fabulous!

Hey everyone!
I made this card for someone who loves Tiffany's, hence the colours and the box.

To get the colours right, I heat embossed a piece of card stock multiple times with aqua embossing powder. I then die cut and created the box.
The numbers and sentiments are also heat embossed as are the stripes! This card was truly an exercise in heat embossing!!!
I created a pocket on the inside to add some cash as a gift.

supplies used are from...
Simon Says Stamp, Winnie and Walter and American Craft Brand Zing embossing powder.
Ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!
