Shaker cards using Wanderlust patterned papers and elements pack

 Hello!
Have you seen the gorgeous new release from Craftangles!
I just love the 6"x6" patterned paper pack "Wanderlust".
I made a couple of simple shaker cards to showcase these papers as well as
the super fun Craftangles sequin mixes.
I used the beautiful illustrations in this paper pack to make the first shaker card.
I used the Craftangles sequins mix 'Candy blue" to represent the ocean, in the shaker.
I also fussy cut some images from the
'Wanderlust' elements pack and added them to create some interest.
I finished the card with a sentiment from Hero Arts.

For the second card,
I used an image from the Wanderlust elements pack as the background for the shaker card.
I then added the rest of the images, also from the 'Wanderlust' elements pack and a sentiment from CAS-ual Friday stamps.

I hope you will these fun supplies a try!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Playing the Color Throwdown challenge and ink smooshing with Craftangles liquid watercolour.

Hello! I am playing a challenge after years!
I came across this challenge from 'Color Throwdown #529'
which seemed perfect!

I played with the newly released Craftangles  liquid watercolours to create this background. It is amazing how vibrant they are and how bright they stay even after drying.
I first die cut a panel using the Altenew canvas die.
I found it too big for my card base so I further die cut it using
Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle die.
I then smooshed liquid watercolours with the help of a piece of acetate, onto the background.
While it dried, I die cut the different layers of the Altenew 'Fantasy Floral' die set.
I decided not to use the bottom layer of the flower to add some interest.
I added a touch of colour to the leaves and adhered them all to the background panel
using 3D foam tape.
Once done, I adhered this panel to a black card base.
I love doing this as it really makes the card pop!
The card looked so pretty, I didn't want to add anything to it, not even a sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed this card. I'd love to hear from you so do leave me a comment.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Valentine cards using only patterned paper and Craftangles element pack Giveaway.

Hello!
Welcome!
I have for you today, three cards which I made using only the newly released Craftangles patterned papers and element packs.
I also have a couple of element packs to GIVEAWAY on my Instagram page today!!
So do visit https://www.instagram.com/parusperceptions/ to enter into the giveaway!
I will choose a winner via Random.org and announce the winner on Friday 8th February.
This Giveaway is open to Indian participants only.

For my first card, I used scraps left over from earlier cards that I made last week.
I adhered them together using double sided tape and then die cut them into a panel to fit the front of an 4.25 x 5.5 inch cardbase.
I then die cut the focal image from the  Craftangles 'Watercolour love' element pack and adhered it with double sided foam tape to finish the card.

For the second card, I layered patterned paper from the Craftangles 'Sweet Love paper paper pack' and the 'Vintage rosette paper pack'. I then fussy cut an focal image from the 'Watercolour love' element pack and adhered it to the card with 3D foam tape to finish it.

For the third card, I used another sheet from the Craftangles 'Sweet Love' paper pack as the background for this 5"x5" card.
I added a sheet of vellum across the the background to diffuse it and added the focal image.. a fussy cut image from the 'Watercolour love' elements pack. I added a couple of die cut elephants to add some interest.

And here are the two elements packs that I have to give away on my Instagram page.
