Vintage grunge

Hey there!
Today I have three cards which I have made using the Vintage Grunge paper set  from Craft Tangles, for Craft Adda.

This paper set is hugely out of my comfort zone and was very challenging!
I love the out come though...I've made cards which are different from my usual style...I hope you enjoy them and are inspired to create some of your own!

For the first card, I used one large sheet of printed paper from the set and one thin strip.
I used some Washi tape to cover the joint and then stamped the mason jar and cutlery (from PTI friendship jar fillers) and sentiment ( from Stampendous)on the printed paper.
I punched holes and threaded some twine through the panel to finish the card.
I then popped this panel onto a kraft card with 3D tape to finish the card.
I really like this card...subtle and nice.

For this card, I distressed the edges of all the panels that I used and coloured the edges with Tim Holtz distress inks.
I created a monoprint panel using distress inks, water and a stencil for the blue happy birthday panel( sentiment stamp from Stampendous).
I used the blue colour so that the blue bird on the chair would pop!
The small panel was cut from one of the sheets of paper, distressed and adhered to the card panel.
I finished off the card with a brass butterfly and some twine.
Really happy with the result.

For he last card, I used two different papers.
I tore the edges to distress them and then popped them onto a background panel which I created using some background stamps from Winnie and Walter and Impression Obsession,
I finished off the card with some stamped balloons,  the sentiment and a graduation cap brad.
A nice card to give a kid who is going off to college maybe?!

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Do drop in at Craft Adda  and try out these awesome papers and many more fabulous craft supplies.

Have a great night!
