Here is my card for Stamptv's 'Mix it Up Monday' Challenge, using Red, Blue and White for any ocassion except patriotic.
The stamps are 'Poppy bottles' from Stampendous, and 'Hello Bubble' from Hero Arts.
Inks are Tuxedo black,Danube blue and Ladybug from Memento and Onyx Black from Versafine.
I coloured the poppy and the bottle with Camel Artists Water Colour Cakes and a 'Aqua Brush' from Stampin'Up. I then cut out the poppy and the bottle and stuck it on with double sided foam tape to give it a 3-D effect.
Self-adhesive pearls are from a local craft store.
I cut the bottom edge of the card with Fiskars craft edge scissors to add some interest.
I love the way it turned out!!

A simple and easy canvas bag.
In craft class today we made these fabulously easy canvas bags.
The bags are pre-made by "The Cotton Bag Movement", an amazing NGO which is slowly but surely working towards making Mumbaikars move from plastic bags to cotton bags.
My kids decorated them by sewing with wool in different colours. Cute aren't they?

Small treats
Here's a quick fun card that I made for a friend for her birthday, using Hero Arts and Sizzix stamp and die-cut set 'Style is Eternal'.
The sentiment is a woodblock stamp from "7Gypsies". I just love it! It is so versatile!
the Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts and I have stamped them all with Versafine Onyx black and Crimson Red inks.
And I used my absolutely favourite tool the 'corner chomper' to round off the corner!
I haven't heard from my friend yet, I hope she liked it!
What do you think?!

My first Moxie Fab challenge!!
I am on a roll!!!!
I am enjoying playing all these challenges so so much!!
Why did I wait so long to do this?!!
I made this card to enter in the Moxie Fab Ombre Challenge and the CAS-UAL Friday CFC95 Challenge, which requires me to make a CAS card without using any stamps. I am also entering it for the Splitcoast stampers 'Monochromatic Madness' challenge.
Here I have used the stamp die and from Cuttlebug and embossed it with the stamp embossing folder using the Letterpress technique that I learnt from Gina.K of Stamptv.
The Memento Inks I have used are Grape jelly, Lilac posies and Lulu Lavender.
The alphabets are cut out using Cuttlebug Alphabet Dies.
The self adhesive gem stones are from my local craft store.

Happy Holi!
Hey everyone! I am the new DT for Craft Adda and this is my first post on their blog!
Since Spring is here (well, more like summer!!) and it is the festival of COLOURS, I decided to make this bright and colourful card to celebate the ocassion!
The splashes of colour have been made using a 'punch bunch' craft punch. Aren't they gorgeous?!
The sentiment is from the 'Technique Tuesday' Bright ideas Stamp set.
I stamped the sentiment with Versamark embossing ink and heat embossed it with American Crafts 'Rouge Red' and 'Black Opaque' embossing powders.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Faux airbrushing and other challenges.
I made a resolution this past weekend..to be disciplined about my card making and take part in whichever challenges I can.
Here is my first effort!

I am also entering it for
'the Friday mashup'102 Challenge.
and the "Clean&Simple"233 Challenge.
I used Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink with the Crafter's Workshop 6x6 template 'mini retro squares' stencil, to create the faux airbrush effect.
The stamps are 'hello bubble' from HA, it's a special day cling rubber stamp from Stampendous, and Grass Print from 'The Ink Pad' NYC.
The butterflies are from the Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die set. I also embossed them using Cuttlebug swirls embossing forlder. The Red butterfly was cut from paper which I stamped using Stampendous Geo Dot border with Versafine Crimson red ink.
