Stamped and doodled deer

Hello!

I have three christmas mini notecards today, the inspiration for which was this image on instagram!

I used the deer stamp from Winnie and Walter's  'Winter Wonderland' Stamp set and using my Misti tool, I stamped the dear in pale shades of memento inks.
The inspiration design had an etched design on the deer, so I decided to recreate a similar design using my white Signo gel pen.
A cut square stitched dies using Simon Says Stamp dies and stamped the pine leaves (Winnie and Walter 'Winter Wonderland') on two of them and dry embossed the third.
I used Memento 'Summer Sky' ink around the edges and added some buttons and sequins(craftangles)
to add some interest.
I then adhered the deer to the panels (except card no 2..where I stamped the deer directly on the panel) and finished the cards by adhering the panels to a 3"x3" card base.
I absolutely love how they turned out!!

I am submitting these cards for

Sunshine is coming!

I am playing the Paper Players challenge with this card!
I used papers from the Doodlebug design 6"x6" paper pack. Oh such fun papers! I finished the card with a button from my stash, sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and some sequins.
I think it is a bright and cheery card.

Goodies from Craftadda!

Hi there!
I was so thrilled to receive my first DT package full of goodies  from CraftAdda, last week!
So, I sat down and had some fun with them!

For this card, I used the gorgeous printed papers and washi tape on brown card stock so as to make them pop!
I also added a the sparkly washi tape, just for a bit of interest.
I then die cut  the word Happy (from Winnie and Walter) from this panel. I then die cut the Happy a couple more times with white card stock so that I could raise the word and give it some dimension.
I then heat embossed  the sentiment, added some sequins and adhered the panel to a white card base.
Its the first time that I have tried this technique, and I am thrilled with the result!

For this cute tag, I used the same paper and wash tape as I used above, but not the sparkly tape.
I added a  butterfly button from my stash and stamped the sentiments (from Winnie and Walter) to finish  the card.
I created the black border for the ribbon hole using circle punches.

I've had a lot of fun…Hope I have inspired you to try out some of these awesome products from CraftAdda!

Valentine week- day1

Hey friends!
I am making Valentine cards all week this week!
Here is my first one…

I made this card after being inspired by this video by Kristina Werner. It is something totally out of my comfort zone, but I like the  wait turned out.
I created the background by applying distress ink onto my Crafter's Workshop mini retro squares stencil, spritzing it with water and placing the paper over it to pick up the colour. You can make many panels like this at one time as all the ink does not come off at once.
The papers are from an old holiday set…don't have the name unfortunately.
The buttons are from my stash.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp…a stamp set designed by Kristina Werner.

Have a great day!

Happiness and Chocolate

I just love this sentiment from Stampendous!
To go with it I started with a kraft card base.I absolutely love Kraft card for its versatility...it goes with every colour!
I created the background with  the Harlequin background stamp from Impression Obsession  stamped in Sand from Memories acid free dye ink.
The yummy chocolate ice cream die cuts are from Cottage cutz. The smiley button, I thought tied everything together nicely.
The sentiment card is embossed with harlequin embossing folder from Sizzix and distressed with Tim Holtz distress inks.
The sentiment is heat embossed in Chestnut.

I hope you enjoy this card as much as I loved making it!
Do let me know if you did!!

This is my absolute favourite...the leaves have been cut by Spellbinders dies and embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
The flower is made with punches from 'Punch Bunch'. The sentiment is from  the Die-namics 'Tag you're it' stamp set  from mftstamps.
Cute heart shaped button and raffia from my stash.

Playing With Backgrounds 9

I created this background with stamps from  the really cute  'Buttons 2x3' stamp set from Hero Arts.
The colours I used are Bahama Blue, Danube Blue and Pear Tart from my Memento Dew Drops ink pad set.
The buttons are from my stash from Bangkok, and, the sentiment stamp is one I created. I stamped in Bahama Blue and Cottage Ivy from Memento.

This card has turned out to be one of my favourites!
