Homemade visiting cards

So excited that I got this idea last night! I printed my artwork onto coloured Vellum and punched it out using my El success 1 3/4 circle punch. Easy and so much fun!!

Doodling a panel

Hi Everyone!
I am trying my hand at doodling these days...actually have been doing it for years, but always in the corners of notebooks...
Today I decided to make a background panel for a card. So, using this  image from a traditional Kalamkari print as inspiration.
Here is what I came up with....

I doodled with pencil, watercoloured the panel and then went over the pencil lines with a Staedtler black fine liner. I added a vellum panel with a stamped sentiment from Kaisercraft and affixed it with ribbon for interest.

I am entering this card for the  the Runway inspired challenge.

For my second card, I took inspiration from the traditional Madhubani style of painting to create this panel. The sentiments are the same as the ones used above, from Kaisercraft.

I am quite happy with my first couple of efforts at doodling.
What do you think?

Have a great night!

Die cut Thanks

Hey there!
today I have a card for the 'Case Study' challenge 183.

Here I have used the gorgeous 'flower text design block' stamp from Hero Arts for the background and die cut the word thanks using the mft alphabet dies. I used Camel watercolours to watercolour the flowers and the leaves.
Quite stunning, I think!

Enjoy your evening!

Anything goes for Paper Smooches!

Hey there!
I have four cards today for the Paper Smooches Sparks 'Anything goes' challenge!

For this card, I thought the little hot air balloons from the Paper Smooches 'Metropolis' were perfect with this sentiment from Fiskars, which I have heat embossed and tried to create a chalkboard effect!!

This card is one of my absolute favourites...it lends itself to so many situations! Stamps are from the Paper Smooches 'Healthy Vibes' stamp set and Verses rubber stamps.

I recently acquired this sentiment (manufacturer unknown) and thought that the spoon from thePaper smooches 'Healthy Vibes' stamp set was perfect for it! The other stamps that I have used are from Technique tuesday, Lawn Fawn and Stampendous.

This stamp set is the fabulous 'Spiffy Scooters' stamp set! I used a gemstone for the headlight!
The sentiment is from Stampendous!

Princess dress

Good Morning Everyone!
For my official Craft Adda post today I have a card that I made using the cutest little (Princess dress) die from Memory box dies.

After much contemplation, I decided to hang the dress from this fabulous sentiment stamp from Hampton Art, which has been heat embossed with Metallic blue embossing powder from American Crafts, cut out and popped up with 3D tape.

For the background, I heat embossed the dazzle stamp with clear embossing powder and added some self adhesive gemstones to add some bling.

To add interest to the dress I dry embossed it using the cuttlebug roses embossing folder, and added an bit of navy blue ribbon.

I love the way it has turned out...don't you?!!

Have a great day!
