Blue Felt leaves

Good Morning everyone!! 

Its a beautiful, cool, sun dappled, morning in Mumbai. 

There is no guarantee it will stay this way though!!!

I have a card today which I made for the  Runway Inspired Challenge.

I have combined it with the Simply Less is More 'Theme' Felt of Fabric challenge.

To make this card I used spellbinders dies to cut out the leaves out of a sheet blue felt which had these gorgeous gold speckles on it.

For the flower, I used my spellbinders nestabilities to cut out 4 nesting layers out of this fabulous vellum like felt paper. It is so pretty and so malleable.

To complete the card, I added an embossed background and created the sentiment using a Hero Arts alphabet set.

I am just thrilled with the way this card turned out...I struggled with it for a while.

GIANT POPPIES AND PINCUSIONS

We made some fun things in class recently.
The giant poppies were inspired by the ones I saw on this 
blog. the tutorial is fab..do try it out!
