Science of Love!

I have one more card this evening!
I am playing the CASology 'Science' challenge with this cute tag I made using the 'Lawn fawn'.
It seems perfect for this challenge. I used watercolours and colour pencils to colour the birds... I find using colour pencils over the dried watercolour colouring tends to enhance the colouring.
I had a lot of fun and I hope you are having a fun evening too!

Umbrella

Hey there!
When I saw the cue card from Casology, I just had to pull out my Art Impressions stamps!
I stamped it on ivory cardstock and watercoloured the image.
I then created a background of falling stars with my Winnie and Walter stencil and add the sentiment with an umbrella brad from Recollections to finish the card.
I will frame this later to gift to a friend.

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Have a great day!

Keep Swimming!

Hi there!
I have been away from my blog for a while…my mojo seems to have gone on holiday!
So,I decided to play the Casology, Cue word, Aquatic challenge to try and get it back!
I struggled a bit, but, I like the end result!

I had bought the fish stamp set from Unity stamp co sometime ago and am happy I got a chance to use it today.

I created a shaker panel using Windsor and Newton water colours and Marvy water colour markers. I used my Signo gold and white pens to colour the fish in order to make it pop.
I finished it by adding transparent blue sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by…
Have a good evening!

Blue giraffe

Hi there!

I just love the way this card turned out... I was playing around with some stencils when I got this idea. The stencil is from 'istencils' and the white ink from Memories.
The little giraffe is a die from Cuttlebug, which I cut out of printed paper from Creative imaginations.
I popped it up with 3D tape for interest and finished up the card by heat embossing the sentiment
(brand new from Simon Says stamp) with white embossing powder from Hero Arts.

Super sized hug

I have a tag today which I made for the CASology Cue card EAT challenge.

The stamp set is from Paper Smooches and the tag was cut using an old circular tag die…don't remember the name..oops!

I stamped and coloured the sandwich with Versafine Onyx black ink and Camel watercolours, before fussy cutting and popping up with 3D foam tape.

Fun, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

Grandpa rocks!

Hello everyone!
Tonight I am playing three challenges!

The heat embossed sentiment is from the masculine graphic tee stamp and die set from mft stamps and the moustache from Lawn Fawn's Dad's Day stamp set.
I embossed the moustache with 'detailed silver' embossing powder from american crafts, fussy cut it and popped it on with a bit of 3D foam tape.

Such fun!

Sunflower Shades!

I love the Simon Says Stamp 'Lets have a Laugh' Wednesday Challenge this week.

Here's what I have for submission...I think it would surely draw a smile on a cold, gloomy day!

The flower is from  Spellbinders Shapeabilities and as I was playing around with it, I decided to add these gorgeous shiny gemstones and a smile! It changed my whole perspective.
The cheery sentiment is from Hero Arts which I stamped with Versafine Habanero ink.

I know I would smile if I received this card...it makes me smile just looking at it!

Hope it makes you smile too!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

I am also entering this for the CASology cue card CONTRAST challenge.

Neon Fun!

Hello!
Today I am playing the CASology cue card CONTRAST challenge with this card.

I found these gorgeous neon coloured felt button on a recent trip to the button and ribbon market in South Mumbai, where I live.
I have been itching to use them, and I am happy to say I love the pop of the bright neon colous on the white card.
I decided to place the sentiment at a angle to add interest, and pop up both the layer as well as the buttons with 3D tape for fun!

The sentiment which is from Stampendous, has been heat embossed in gold.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

Picture perfect!

Today for my official post on the Craft Adda Blog, I have this fun and cheerful card!

I am playing the CASology  week 78 Cue card DOT challenge  and the Simon Says stamp"Emboss It " Wednesday  challenge with this card.

This darling stamp is from MFT stamps. The sentiments are from MFT and Hero Arts.
I did not have the word  "you are", so I partially inked up the sentiment 'you're the best' from the Hero Arts 'Everyday Sayings' stamp set and added it to the 3D tape popped up sentiment fro MFT stamps.
The background stamp is from Stampin'Up (I think...its really old!) and the stars are die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities and embossed with a small dots embossing folder from Cuttlebug.

Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great evening!

It's your day...

Inspiraton seems to strike only in the mddle of the night these days!!
Here I am with another card at 1.30 a.m.!

Today I decided to play with some Paper smooches free digis and make a card for the
CASology Cue Word 'Free' challenge and the Addicted to CAS 'take flight' challenge.

I put two digis together..the critter and the leaf... and added the sentiment and printed it out onto the cardstock.
I then coloured the critter and the leaf with faber castell colour pencils and added a little shading on the side for dimension.
I also drew the clouds for added fun! :-)

Smiles and Laughter

 Good Morning!!

This is really sweet card...hopefully it will make you smile! It makes ME smile!!

I made this card for the Stampawaywithme Monday Mood board 10 challenge and the

The background Chevron is from Technique Tuesday, heat embossed with American Crafts Zing! embossing powder.
The lace stamp is heat embossed with white on vellum .
I adhered it to the card using my trusted companion, my  Xyron 150 sticker maker.
It is one of my most valuable tools!!!

The sentiments are from Hero Arts...I heat embossed them over the embossed chevron with Zing! detailed silver embossing powder.
Hence the shine...I find it  hard to photograph metallic surfaces...any tips anyone?

The little baby stamp is from an unknown stamp set...one of the first I ever bought and never used untill now!!

Here is my inspiration...

Thanks for stopping by!
Have gorgeous day!!!

The words  die is from Cuttlebug.
Sweet and simple isn't it?
