A baby guest book

Hello and Happy New year!

Today for my official Craft Adda blogpost,  I have a guest book that I made for a new baby.
Since we didn't know if it was going to be a boy or a girl, I decided to use a neutral colour like red and have the pages stamped in pink and blue on the inside.
Its a simple book...I  cut some mount board to A5 size and covered it with some patterned paper.

I then created the label by printing it on the computer and cutting it down to size. I then layered it with more patterned paper and added the cute boy and girl charms to finish the cover.

To make the pages, I stamped baby motifs in pink and blue onto white cardstock. I then cut the pages to A5 size and go them bound together with the covers at my local stationery store.

We hope this inspires you to create a book of your own.

Making tags using hand carved stamps

Hey all!
I have been having fun making tags using some of the hand carved stamps that I had made a while ago.

some of the stamps are really tiny and extremely simple and I have managed to make some fab backgrounds with them.
I added some free digi flowers which I  downloaded and coloured with copics, some gemstones, some charms, handmade paper flowers, foam letters( from EK success), feathers, buttons, brads and twine for extra pop!

I am submitting this card for the Color Q challenge.

Hope you have had fun reading this post!

Baby best!

Good morning everyone!
Today I have a cute baby card which I made on order for a friend. I wanted to submit it for the Case Study challenge 178 but  I missed the deadline by a few days! :(

I love the way the card turned out though...I had been struggling with it for a few days!

The flower die is from Spellbinders, the little baby is a ready made embellishment from a local market, the cute little charms are from my shopping in Mexico and the stamps and banner die are from the Simon says stamp and Memory box tilted banners stamp and die set.

I found this cute baby's eyes follow you whichever way you turn the card! Such fun!

Vellum flowers

Hi eveyone!
Here is my submission for the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge.
I cut the vellum flowers using my Cuttlebug die and for the background I used the Impression Obsession Striped background cling stamp  and heat embossed in white.
The sentiment is an outline sticker from Anita's and the little dragonfly charm is something a bought on a trip to Bangkok (at Chatuchak market where you can buy these charms by weight!!).

Have a nice day!

SOME NEW FRAMES

Here are a few frames I made recently...

Emboss resist with little charms that I picked up in Mexico

This is an emboss resist background...only, I used gold ebossing instead of clear.

Emboss resist again..

This is a photograph of  a bunch of "sontaka flowers", which I received for my birthday.
I framed the picture as a gift for a cousin.
It was much appreciated!

My daughter's birthday!

Ever since my kids started reading, I have been making birthday cards for them with simple messages.
I hope they will cherish them when I am too old to make them anymore!!

I made this card for my daughter who turned nine last week. The puppy is a charm that would go on to a necklace or bracelet. I stiched it down and then added a little blutack to hold it in place.
the grass is cut from fun sparkly foam.
The sentiment is from Stampendous.
I decided to just draw the background of the sky and sun...and added the cheerful butterflies punched out of patterned paper.

The window in the card is cut using the spellbinders scalloped square and my trusty cuttlebug!
I like the way it turned out, hope you like it too!
Thanks for stopping by.
enjoy!
