16th Birthday

Hey everyone!
I have been missing in action and missing all the challenge fun, due to a really bad cough and cold!!

Here is a card that I made for my son's 16th birthday last week. I was inspired by this fabulous card by Amber Diagre of Damask Love.

While Amber used a black and white colour scheme, I decided to go with more masculine colours with the blue to add pop!

The numbers are die cut using my cuttlebug  number die and for the 16, I used sparkly blue cardstock from my stash.

I adhered the numbers to the cardstock using my Xyron 150 sticker maker...a tool that I absolutely adore!!

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts and it is heat embossed with Wave blue embossing powder from American Crafts.

Real striking don't you think?!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

Happy 50th

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today  for my official post on the Craft Adda blog, I have another number birthday card for that special woman in your life!
On second thoughts, you could also use this card as a 50th Anniversary card!

To make this card I stamped the large circle and square stamps  (Stampendous retro squares stamp set) with memento lilac posies and lulu lavender  inks and then heat embossed over them with clear embossing powder.
The small squares and circles were heat embossed with gold embossing powder
The numbers are die cut using cuttlebug dies and the medallion is cut using Spellbinders nestabilities.
A few self adhesive gemstones and ribbon and we are good to go!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day!

Number birthday

I am posting after a long time...life is a bit hectic these days!
I made this card for a very dear (older) cousin...I love the way it turned out...what do you think?
The numbers are die cut with cuttlebug alphabet and number dies and the sentiment is from Stampendous "B'day Candles" stamp set stamped with Versmrk 'OnyxBlack' ink. It is such a fun sentiment isn't it!
I used a 'Xyron 150 sticker' machine to make the numbers into stickers to adhere them to the card

Thanks so much for stopping by...
Enjoy!!
