Red roses money card

Hello there!
I have made this money card or cash gift envelope using  the Kaisercraft 'These days' stamp set.
I stamped the the image on opposite corners using Versafine Habanero ink
I then stamped the sentiment from mft 'Celebrate Big' stamp set  with Versafine Onyx black ink.
I also stamped the image on the matching card insert.
Simple and striking, dont you think?

Celebrating Gold!

This was a difficult challenge for me...but I finally got it!
I am playing the Paper Smooches 'GOLD' challenge today.
I decided to use the sentiment from the 'scripted sayings' stamp set to create a background and the cocktail 'wise dies' glasses ( cut from shimmery white card stock) as the focal point.
the god heart is dry embossed using  a Cuttlebug folder and I heat embossed two gold stars from the same stamp set onto the vellum. I finished off with some gold and white sequins.

I just love the way it has turned out.

Cup inspired!

I made this fun card today, inspired by the cup I was drinking coffee in this morning!

The cup is from the Venetian in Macao and one of my favourites!
After many false starts...I tried to make the stripes by masking, but that didn't quite work out!

So then I used stamps from the  Winnie and Walter Stripes set  and heat embossing powder to recreate the effect from the cup.

The die is from Simon Says Stamp..Always edge.
I had a lot of fun making this card..maybe it will inspire you today?!

Playing with Stencils

Hi everyone! I have been MIA for a while due to severe pain in the right shoulder and arm....Do any of you crafters face the same pain?

So, after a long time I have been able to make a few cards today. This is also my official Craft adda blogpost.

Stencilling is a big trend these days, so I decided to pull out my stencils which haven't seen the light of day in a while!

This gorgeous peacock feather stencil that I have used on the cards I made today is from Dreamweavers.

The inks that I have used are Tim holtz distress inks. I was thrilled with the effect they created!
the sentiments are from the Fiskars 'Curiosity' stamp set.

To create interest, I added the two butterflies...they are beads...so I decided to stick one down and leave the other loose so that it would move...its quite a fun surprise!

I am submitting this card for the Simon Says Stamp 'Anything Goes' Chalenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Look out for some more stencil fun here on my blog!

Have a good night!

Grandpa rocks!

Hello everyone!
Tonight I am playing three challenges!

The heat embossed sentiment is from the masculine graphic tee stamp and die set from mft stamps and the moustache from Lawn Fawn's Dad's Day stamp set.
I embossed the moustache with 'detailed silver' embossing powder from american crafts, fussy cut it and popped it on with a bit of 3D foam tape.
I just love the silver look!

Have a great evening!
