This week in class...Happy Valentine's Day!

This week in craft class my kids made simple Valentine's Day gifts to give their friends and family. These gifts were inspired by activities on  http://www.marthastewart.com/photogallery/kids-valentines
Thanks for stopping by...
Enjoy!

We made this folder by sticking five envelopes together. The envelopes create multiple pockets to store the little gifts that we made.

The hearts in red and gold were cut out and adhered to a simple wooden clothespin, and then decorated. This pretty tag can be used to close a gift bag of goodies or to hold up a piece of art!

This beautifully folded origami paper heart flower is perfect for a sweet valentine sentiment!

To make this bookmark, the kids drew the rocket on another peice of paper, coloured it, cut it out and stuck it on the bookmark along with the hearts and then wrote the sentiment. Truly out of this world!

My favourite...a gift that can be used for years...a gift tag which can be used as a bookmark!

A heart envelope! We made a patterned paper using some heart stamps we had; cut it out in the shape of a heart and then folded it into an envelope! What a wonderful way to say Happy Valentine's Day!
