Faux airbrushing and other challenges.

I made a resolution this past weekend..to be disciplined about my card making and take part in whichever challenges I can.
Here is my first effort!
I am entering this card for the Craft Stamper 'Take it, Make it Challenge' using the 'Faux Airbrushing' technique.
I am also entering it for

'the Friday mashup'102 Challenge.

I used Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink with the Crafter's Workshop 6x6 template 'mini retro squares' stencil, to create the faux airbrush effect.
The stamps are 'hello bubble' from HA, it's a special day cling rubber stamp from Stampendous, and Grass Print from 'The Ink Pad' NYC.
The butterflies are from the Spellbinders Wonderful Wings die set. I also embossed them using Cuttlebug swirls embossing forlder. The Red butterfly was cut from paper which I stamped using Stampendous Geo Dot border with Versafine Crimson red ink.
Other inks are from Memento..Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa.
Self adhesive gemstones, raffia and cardstock is from local stores.

Thanks for stopping by!
Love to hear what you think...
Enjoy!
