And some more diwali cards!

Hey!
I am playing with a triangle motif here, for this batch of diwali cards.
I stamped some 'friendly flags' from the Hero Arts stamp set using Hero arts neon inks onto white card stock. I then cut up the panel and managed to make so many cards from that one 4"x6" panel!
I love it! The happy sentiment from Winnie and Walter was cut out from an old invitation card...it had the perfect colours.

The sentiments I used here are from the Hero Arts 'Holiday Sayings' stamp set.

For this card, I used little flowers from the Stampendous stamp set to create a background and added the friendly flags panel along with some printed paper from Doodlebug design. since I did not have the diwali sentiment, I used the Hero Arts 'assorted alphabet ' stamp set to create it.
I coloured the cardbase using the Hero arts neon colours  in order to make the card pop.

For this card, I sponged the neon colours onto the card base  and stamped some circles from the Paper Smooches 'I heart Art' stamp set to create a bokeh effect. I finished it off with the happ sentiment from Winnie and Walter and diwali sentiment made from Hero Arts assorted alphabets.

For this card, I used printed papers from Doodlebug designs to off set the scrap piece I had left from the friendly flags panel. It looks so pretty! I added the happy sentiment from Winnie and Walter and diwali sentiment made from the assorted alphabets from Hero Arts.

I am really excited with this batch!
Hope you enjoy them too!

More diwali cards

Continuing with my diwali card reveal...

To make these cards, I watercoloured two pieces of card stock and then stamped and heat embossed the awesome fireworks (from Stampendous) with gold embossing powder. The sky line is from Memory box and the sentiment from the Hero Arts 'Holiday Sayings' stamp set.
These were quick and easy...and I love how they turned out! I feel the festive mood creeping up!

Playing with Backgrounds...3

To make this background I have used the 'Retro Shapes Set' stamp set from Stampendous with Smokey Grey and Jet Black ink from Versafine. the sentiment is from Hero arts, 'All Occassion Messsages'. The photograph is of a wooden sleeping Buddha in my home. I matted the picture with one scalloped circle in black and one in green. The green circle and the black strips  on the card have been embossed with the 'swirls' embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
