Craftangles new release..Dangling leaves stencil.

Hello.
Today, card no1 is a simple card made using Craftangles newly released 'dangling leaves" stencil.

I started from the top of the white card stock panel and stencilled the leaves using 'Bamboo leaves' and 'Pear tart' inks from memento.
At the base, I used Tim Holtz 'Woodgrain' stencil to simulate water in a pond.
I then added the die cut butterfly (from spellbinders) and a sentiment from
The sentiment is heat embossed using Craftangles silver embossing powder.

A sweet and simple card..just the way I like it!
The stencilling in this card is inspired by this card by Rahmat Ghouse.

For card no 2, I've used the same colours as above with the Dangling leaves stencil.
Here I added a fussy cut motorbike and sentiment from Craftangles "Roadtrip" stamp set.

For card no 3,
I have used the newly released Craftangles 'Ripples' stencil, with stamps
I have used 'Cantaloupe', 'Desert Sand' and 'Rich cocoa' inks
to create sand ripples on textured cardstock.
I stamped and die cut the bike with 'Rich cocoa' and layered it over a piece of vellum.
I then added the sentiment using my Misti tool and also added some brown sequins to finish the card.

For the last card, I used Craftangles 'Ripples' stencil with TimHoltz distress inks
(Broken china, Faded jeans and Chipped Sapphire)
to create ripples in the sea.
I then used the stencil to draw with a pencil on a piece of vellum which I then cut to create a mask.

Then, I stamped the boat (from Paper smooches 'Wicked Nautical' stamp set) over the mask to make it appear as if it is being tossed by the waves.

I then coloured the boat and paper pieced a little bird from the same stamp set to add some cheer.
The sentiment is from the Craftangles 'Road trip' stamp set..which I heat embossed on vellum using Craftangles gold embossing powder.
As an after thought, I added some stars using Winnie and Walter's star stencil.

Absolutely love the cards I made today...mojo has been away..hoping its back!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Let's eat cake

Hello!
For my official Craft Adda post today, I have a fun card using sequin beads...something I have attempted for the first time!

I came a across a picture on Pinterest which jogged my creative juices! I wanted to create an aerial view of layered cake and stand.
I had fun trying it...I think it looks pink and pretty!

To make the cake I used my Spell binders Nestabilities dies to cut three concentric circles and a scalloped circle.
I then used some multi medium matte on the edges to adhere the beads
I finished of the cake with a pretty pink punched sakura flower .
The flower was punched out of a piece of paper which I coloured with Hero Arts neon pink ink.
I also punched out and adhered some cutlery and finished up the card with a sentiment from Stampendous (stamped with memento ink).

I hope I have shaken up your creative juices...have a creative crafty weekend!
Thanks for stopping by..
Have a great day!

You Nailed it!

 Hey!
I am playing the  Less is More Week 257 challenge with this card.
The challenge was to make a CAS card using Neutral colours.

After a little thought, I pulled out this stamp set from MFT. I used Memento Desert Sand and Brilliance coffee bean inks to stmap the images.
To create  interest, I die cut the panels using Simon Says Stamp stitched squares dies. I also punched out  a few circles and, stamped a nail image (from the stamp set) and stacked them up to create some height and make them look like nails.

I really like the way this card turned out!
I hope you like it too!

A baby guest book

Hello and Happy New year!

Today for my official Craft Adda blogpost,  I have a guest book that I made for a new baby.
Since we didn't know if it was going to be a boy or a girl, I decided to use a neutral colour like red and have the pages stamped in pink and blue on the inside.
Its a simple book...I  cut some mount board to A5 size and covered it with some patterned paper.

I then created the label by printing it on the computer and cutting it down to size. I then layered it with more patterned paper and added the cute boy and girl charms to finish the cover.

To make the pages, I stamped baby motifs in pink and blue onto white cardstock. I then cut the pages to A5 size and go them bound together with the covers at my local stationery store.

We hope this inspires you to create a book of your own.

Baby bow tie

Good morning!
Today is the 8th day of navratri and the colour of the day is SKY BLUE.
To celebrate this colour, I die cut this cute bow tie from Craft Tangles 'Wild about blue' paper pack (from Craft Adda). The die is from 'Little B'
I popped it up with foam tape onto a panel cut with Simon Says Stamp stitched squares and added a sentiment from Simon Says stamp.
Delicate sequins in blue and white finished my card.
I am playing the Less is More 'Masculine' challenge with this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Celebrating PINK- 9 days of Navratri

Hey there!
Yesterday was the 7th day of Navratri...the day of the colour PINK.
I decided to play the Friday Mashup 'So Sweet' challenge...so I pulled out my Hero Arts doughnut stamp, Hero Arts white embossing powder and my Cotman water colours and went to work!
The sentiment die and stamp is from Simon Says Stamp and I though it lends itself well to this image.

Thanks so much for stopping by...Have a great day!

Happy Navratri

Hey there!
Its Navratri! 9 days and nights of festivities before the festival of Dussehra!
It is the festival that celebrates the Goddess all over the country.
Each of the 9 days is celebrated with different colour representing a different avatar of the Goddess.
Today celebrates the colour Red.

Though I am not a religious person, I have decided to make a card everyday to celebrate the various colours...I am an artist after all!

Today I have made  really simple CAS tag...
And, I absolutely love the sentiment from simon Says Stamp.

The Stamp used is from Hero Arts and I used my Steadler fine liners to colour the flowers red.
Thanks so much for stopping by...
See you tomorrow with the colour Blue!

Shiny Sunshine

Hey there! Good morning! It's been an awfully productive morning so far! I am playing a few challenges today!
I started with the sentiment (from Simon Says Stamp) and then pulled out this 'small circle burst' die from Memory box that I had been hoarding a while. In order to create something shiny, I took the circle from the centre and heat embossed it a couple of times with Gold embossing powder. I then inlaid the die cut onto the card.
I just love the simple effect that it has created.

I am also playing the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday 'Anything goes' challenge.

Have a great day!
