Give me more!

Here is another card I made for the Moxie Fab World Stickers and Tape challenge, using the polaroid die from Lawn Fawn and a photograph that I have taken.

This fab speech bubble sticker is from EK success. I stuck it on some acetate and cut around it to give it some body and to be able to use 3D foam tape to pop it up.
I think the sentiment goes perfectly with this photo of a scrumptious chocolate truffle cake, don't you?!
the background is embossed with the happy birthday folder from cuttlebug.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Violet and Yellow

Hey all!
Today, for the Simply Less is More Colours Challenge, I made this card with a photograph that I have taken. It just fit the colour scheme so well!!
The challenge was to use oposite colours on the colour wheel and I decided to use Violet and Yellow.

The background stamp is the textures block from Stampendous...one of my favourites!
I stamped it with Memento Grape Jelly ink.
The sentiment is a peel off sticker...aren't I lucky I had it in violet?
The beauty of these challenges is that they push me to think out of the box...I'm lovin' it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy!

Flower photocard

Good morning all!
I have been neglecting my photographs for a while so I thought, I would use them for the cards I make this week.
so, here goes...

The focal image is a photograph which I took of a pretty flowering bush in a nearby garden. To showcase it, I used a stamp from the Hero Arts Clear Design 'Mixed Design' stamp set.
The ric-rac die is from MFT and the sentiment is by Danielle Johnson, cut with my spellbinders label die.
Inks are Pear Tart and Lady Bug from Memento.

I am entering this card for...

Photocards

Here are four photocards I made a while ago...love the photographs and love the way they turned out. These went out for sale through a local high end florists' store. I wonder who bought them eventually!!

Stamps are from Hero Arts, Stampendous and some unbranded (from the days when I bought stamps before I knew what to do with them!!) Inks I have used are my favorite, Memento, and papers have been embossed with cutlebug folders and die cut with nestabilities.

enjoy!

Playing with Backgrounds 5

The last of the photocards in this series, this background was inspired by a pillow case that I have!
I just fell in love with the colour combination!
The stamp is one that I have created, stamped on white card stock with 'Rich cocoa', 'Pear tart' and 'Tangelo' from  Memento Dew Drops.
The focal image is, again, a photograph that I took at Highline Park in New York. Isn't it a cute sparrow!
The sentiment is from  Hero Arts.

Thanks for stopping by.
Enjoy!

Playing with Backgrounds 4

The next card in the series is made with the 'Retro Shapes' stamp set from Stampendous. Stamped on white cardstock with smokey grey and jet balck from Versafine, I added a focal image of a photograph of Champagne bottles. It's a pic that I took during my visit to NYC last year.
The sentiment is fro Hero Arts 'All Occassion Messages' stamp set.

I had a stall the Candies Bazaar last week end. For the first time I had only cards and my photographs for sale.
It was briliant!!!
Almost everyone who came to the stall bought something, and more importantly, gave me fantastic feedback! It was very gratifying!
Here is a picture of my stall, and then some of the cards that I had for sale.
Some of these cards you will find on my 'SHOP' page. If youwould like to purchase them, please get in touch.
