Umbrella

Hey there!
When I saw the cue card from Casology, I just had to pull out my Art Impressions stamps!
I stamped it on ivory cardstock and watercoloured the image.
I then created a background of falling stars with my Winnie and Walter stencil and add the sentiment with an umbrella brad from Recollections to finish the card.
I will frame this later to gift to a friend.

Have a great day!

Handcarved stamps as a background and a motif.

Hey all!

You may know that I have recently discovered the technique of handcarving stamps, and am now obsessed by it!( I dream of designs to carve!!!)

So, for my official Craft adda post today, I have two cards which I have made using two handcarved stamps that I made today.

To make this gorgeous feather stamp, I followed this tutorial by the fabulously talented Geninne who never fails to inspire!

I stamped the feathers on card stock  using Versafine, Memento and Adirondack inks. I then cut out three feathers and affixed them along with some raffia for detail and pop. The sentiment is from Verses rubber stamps.

For my second card I used a stamp which I carved; a design which is inspired by Gond Art from Central India.
I made two panels so that I could stamp them together to create a background. I love the way the panels come together to form a circle!
Inks used are from Versafine; Sentiment is from Verses rubber stamps and Hero Arts. The beautiful organza ribbon is from the local craft market.
I am submitting this card for the CASology Week 90:WET challenge

Have a good night

A Golf card

Here is a fun card for a guy (or a girl) who loves golf.
I made this card for
the 'Stamp Away With Me 'Color Cue challenge' , and
the Feshly made sketches 84 challenge.

The background stamps are from Impression Obsession.
I stamped and heat embossed a panel of brown card stock with turquoise and red embossing powder and cut it out. The golf bag is a vintage stamp made of brass, which I picked up in Greenwich Market in London.
The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Fun, don't you think?

Enjoy your day!
