Celebrating Gold!

This was a difficult challenge for me...but I finally got it!

I am playing the Paper Smooches 'GOLD' challenge today. 

I decided to use the sentiment from the 'scripted sayings' stamp set to create a background and the cocktail 'wise dies' glasses ( cut from shimmery white card stock) as the focal point. 

the god heart is dry embossed using  a Cuttlebug folder and I heat embossed two gold stars from the same stamp set onto the vellum. I finished off with some gold and white sequins.

I just love the way it has turned out.

I am also playing 'the Paper Players sketch challenge' with this card as well as the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday 'Anything goes' Challenge.

Sunshine is coming!

I am playing the Paper Players challenge with this card!
I used papers from the Doodlebug design 6"x6" paper pack. Oh such fun papers! I finished the card with a button from my stash, sentiment from Simon Says Stamp and some sequins.
I think it is a bright and cheery card.

Blue giraffe

Hi there!

I just love the way this card turned out... I was playing around with some stencils when I got this idea. The stencil is from 'istencils' and the white ink from Memories.

The little giraffe is a die from Cuttlebug, which I cut out of printed paper from Creative imaginations.

I popped it up with 3D tape for interest and finished up the card by heat embossing the sentiment

(brand new from Simon Says stamp) with white embossing powder from Hero Arts.

 

I am playing  the Addicted to CAS #60 'CUTE' challenge, the Paper Players 'to die for' challenge, simply create too (anything goes) and the CAS-ology 'News' challenge  (card for a new baby).

Watercolouring with Distress markers

I am linking up another card for the Paper Players 'Spring' theme Challenge.

Stamps are from Darcies, Art Impressions and Winnie and Walter. 

Inks are Tim Holtz distress inks and markers and Marvy watercolour markers and the happy die cut is from Winnie and Walter. 

This technique of stamping with distress inks and markers and softening them with water, really make s me happy! 

So I am also linking this card up for the Simply Less in More 'This makes me happy' Challenge.

Morning All!

Here is a quick card for the Moxie Fab ready-made embellishments challenge...

For this card I used a 3D sticker from 'Recollections' and added the stamped sentiment from Studio G.

I added some self adhesive gemstones for pop!

I love the way it turned out!

Fortune cookie

Hello everyone!

I recently acquired the most fabulous samp set from Lawn Fawn...'Good Fortune'.

Today I decided to use it to make a card for 'The Paper Players' sketch challenge no.160

I stamped and fussy cut the fortune cookie and the fortune strip and sliped the strip into a slot that I created within the cookie and adhered them together. The chopsticks in the background are from Kodomo inc. 'Chinese tea set stamp set.'

For the sentiments I used the 'Calligraphy Alphabet' stamp set from Stampendous and the 'Ribbon Sliders' stamp set also from Stampendous.

Cute, don't you think?!

A Cut Above at the Paper Players!!!

I was A Cut Above at the Paper Players this week!!!!

I am so thrilled! This card was a truly light bulb moment..it came together in 5 minutes flat!!!

You're Brilliant!

Good morning all!!
I have made a card I am thrilled with and I am having a brilliant start to my crafting day!!
Here it is...

I created a rectangle mask with my nestabilities rectangle die and stamped over it with my  Studio Calico Hero Arts cling 'sunburst' stamp in Memento 'Dandelion' ink.
The light and sentiment are from Technique Tuesday's 'Bright idea stamp set' stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink.
Quick and easy and quite brilliant..don't you think?!!

I am entering this card for the CAS(E) this sketch challenge 24 this week as well as the Paper Players PP142 CAS one layer card challenge.

Retro sketches challenge no.59

It's really late and I am playing two challenges tonight...

The Retro sketches challenge no.59

And the Paper Players Challenge no. 141...I just missed this one!!!

Here is my interpretation!

Stamps are from Stampendous 'hand of friendship' stamp set  and Verses Rubber stamps.

The bangles, flower and sentiment are heat embossed with American crafts and Stampendous embossing powder. 

I used my Versamark pen to ink the bangles and the flower before I heat embossed them.

The background stamp is from Stampendous..'Marble texture cube'.

Inks are from Versamark, Versafine  and Memories.

I like this one...
