Using Negative die cuts

Hello Everyone!
It's great to be back online...my laptop died so now I have a new iMac  so I am back in the blogogsphere!Yay!!!

Today I have three cards which I made using negative die cuts...
An idea I have been wanting to play with for a while.
I will post cards with the positives tomorrow.

As you can see, I have added sentiments in the negative space of the die cut and made these fun cards.

The dies are from the Simon Says stamp and Memory Box 'Talk Bubbles' stamp and die set.

The sentiments are from  Hero Arts and the inks are from Memento and Versafine.

Molded Clay pendant

Hello everyone!

Today I have a card I made using this gorgeous molded clay embellishment made by Khyati. I decided to add some cord and beads and make it into a pendant.

A fabulous and bold sentiment  from Hampton Art and a Cuttlebug embossed background, finishes of the card!

Do have a look at the stunning molds available for sale at the Craft Adda store!

Button Cake

It's really late and I should be in bed...but the best ideas come at this time don't they?!!

I just love the way it has all come together in 4 minutes and 53 seconds.
I used the buttons here to mimic a cake with a sparkler on top.
The sentiment  from Hero Arts and the sparkler  from Stampendous have been heat embossed.

Good night!

16th Birthday

Hey everyone!
I have been missing in action and missing all the challenge fun, due to a really bad cough and cold!!

Here is a card that I made for my son's 16th birthday last week. I was inspired by this fabulous card by Amber Diagre of Damask Love.

While Amber used a black and white colour scheme, I decided to go with more masculine colours with the blue to add pop!

The numbers are die cut using my cuttlebug  number die and for the 16, I used sparkly blue cardstock from my stash.

I adhered the numbers to the cardstock using my Xyron 150 sticker maker...a tool that I absolutely adore!!

The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Hero Arts and it is heat embossed with Wave blue embossing powder from American Crafts.

Real striking don't you think?!

Have a great day!

A quick post and submission for the 'Freshly Made sketches challenge' this week.

I made this card using stamps from PTI( friendship jar fillers), Hero Arts(background cling), Impression Obsession (background texture) and Stampendous(Birthday sentiments).
Love the pop of the red, don't you?!

Tag a bag / envelope!

I am playing three challenges tonight, and I am thrilled with the way my project turned out.

For the Friday Mashup(Eat Cake and colour) Challenge , I created a tag with a faux washi tape cake.

To create the cake, I stamped and heat embossed the washi tape stamps ( stamps from Unity stamp Co.) onto white card and fussy cut around them and popped them on one on top of the other with 3D foam tape.
I then added the 3D star sticker from Recollections stickers as the cake topper.

The background stamp is of course the fabulous designblock from HeroArts.

To make the envelope I stamped  the background stamp on Vellum and then folded it into an envelope.
As you can see this serves as a cash gift envelope.

I am also entereing this project for the Blog named Hero embell-ope challenge and the
CAS-ual Friday CFC 118 Bag and tag challenge

Good night!

Pretty trees

I made this card for the Less is More 'Trees' challenge
The first card I attempted, was not CAS, so I made another CAS version.

The stamp I used here is Daisy Bucket and the sentiment is from Hampton Art.

Which one did you like?
