CLASSES...

It's been a while since I posted my students' work...
Here's what we have been upto...

We made Durga faces ...painted on Thermocol with markers and then created the rays emanating from her face, with a hot knife pressed into the thermocol.  The kids took it home to be framed and displayed!

For Diwali, we made thorans...with a twist!
The children traced out the outline of their cute little hands on card paper and decorated them with a mehendi design. We then cut out the hands, and along with some flowers we made, we stapled them onto the gold ribbon to make a thoran.
The hands of Goddess Lakshmi blessing your home!

The kids have been clamouring to learn quilling...
This was the first basic class, where they learnt how to make a simple swirl and control the paper.
The cards they made a real pretty aren't they?

Thanks for stopping by...
Do leave a comment...The kids will be greatly encouraged...as will I!!
Enjoy!
