Celebrating Yellow!

Hey there!
Today is the day we celebrate Yellow... day 3 of the nine days of Navratri.
To make this card I stamped and heat embossed the flower from Hero Arts with white embossing powder ..also from Hero Arts.
I then watercoloured the background with  Windsor and Newton watercolours. I then added the sentiment from Lawn fawn's 'Lunar Lights' stamp set and added a die cut butterfly...which I cut using the Spellbinders shapeabilities dies and sparkly yellow card stock from DCWV.

This card surely celebrates Yellow..don't you think?

I am linking this card to the Simon Says Stamp Monday 'Watercolour ' Challenge and

Thanks so much for stopping by...Have a great day!

  1. Wow! Never has yellow looked so good! I love the structure and design of this card and how you included such depth and texture even with only a couple of colors. The embossing that you did gives it such a feeling of sophistication. This is really a lovely piece and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
