Thank you Shakers

Hello everyone!

Today, I am playing with three fabulous 6"x6" paper packs designed by our very own Khyati Kothari!

I have used two papers from the 'Pyari Maa' paper pack and 

one from the 'Colours of India' paper pack.

I'm sure over the Diwali holidays we have partied  a lot and have been hosted by family and friends! 

I thought it would be nice to make a thank you card for that 

special someone who has lovingly pampered us.

To make the card, I used my PTI small mason jar die to die cut the window. I then affixed the acetate and double sided foam tape to the back and fill the  window with blue and green seed beads. I then cut a panel of paper from the 'Colours of India' paper pack and adhered it, creating the shaker element.

I layered the papers on a background from the 'Pyari Maaa' paper pack and used Winnie and Walter dies to die cut the sentiment. 

Simon Says Stamp has recently come out with co-ordinating background dies fro their sentiments. I dont have these dies, but I decided to affix the sentiment on a piece of vellum and cut around it to create  a similar effect. The rest of the sentiment is from Winnie and Walter too.

Let's eat cake

Hello! 

For my official Craft Adda post today, I have a fun card using sequin beads...something I have attempted for the first time!

I came a across a picture on Pinterest which jogged my creative juices! I wanted to create an aerial view of layered cake and stand. 

I had fun trying it...I think it looks pink and pretty!

To make the cake I used my Spell binders Nestabilities dies to cut three concentric circles and a scalloped circle. 

I then used some multi medium matte on the edges to adhere the beads. 

I finished of the cake with a pretty pink punched sakura flower .

The flower was punched out of a piece of paper which I coloured with Hero Arts neon pink ink.

I also punched out and adhered some cutlery and finished up the card with a sentiment from Stampendous (stamped with memento ink).
