This was a wedding invitation for my niece and I made 35 of them in 24 hours!!! That was quite a feat and the whole family pitched in!
I made the flowers by punching scalloped circles from red and pink vellum and layering them. I also crumpled them for texture.
I held them together with black brads from Recollections.
The background was using my Cuttlebug embossing folder, the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Tilted Banner stamp and die set". the dragon flies were punched from vellum too.
I had so much fun making this card and it was much appreciated by all who received it.
I'm linking this to Virginia's view "All things embossed" Challenge.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a good evening!
OOH! I pinned that cake too - I love what you did with the inspiration! The vibrant flowers against that embossed background - amazing! Thanks for the shout-out!
