Tag U'r It!

Hey everyone!
I am playing quite a few challenges today...
Here is my submission for the 'Tag U'r It' challenge 59 from Love to Create, Less is more 'use scallops' challenge, Simon Says Stamp 'Birthday' challenge, and the Paper Players tic-tac-toe challenge from Jaydee.

As you can see, I have used the centre line from the grid...Blue and Pink, A tag and Birthday.

I struggled with this one a bit, but I think it has come through quite nicely.

For the base, I clear embossed the Damask stamp from Inkadinkado.I distressed the base with TimHoltz Tea Dye and Vintage photo distress inks.
The tag, which I cut using Spellbinders Nestabilities, I stamped with Memento Danube Blue, to add texture.
The pink flower is cut using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities die.
the sentiment is from Hero Arts 'Birthday Messages' stamp set.

YOU DID IT!

Happy Thursday everyone!
Hope the week is going well and you are looking forward to the weekend.
I know I am!!

With exam fever on in full swing and with many having finished their exams as well, I thought it would be a good time to prepare for the arrival of the results!
I have, therefore, this card for you.

Here are the materials I used...
The page die is from Spellbinders Shapeabilities and the number dies are from Cuttlebug.
The page stamp is from Impression Obsession.
The A+ stamp is one of my own and the sentiment stamps are from Hero Arts.
Inks are from Memento and I have lightly distressed the page with Tim Holtz tea dye distress ink.
The red and blue banners on the side have been embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder using the letterpress technique.

Hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Thanks for stopping by...
Enjoy!

ICRC28 Speech Bubble and witty sentiment Challenge.

And now, my last post for the day...
My submission for the Indian Craft Rooms ICRC28, Speech Bubble with witty sentiment Challenge.

Again, a favourite stamp and die set  from Hero Arts and Sizzix (Style is Eternal).
The sentiment is from Stampendous.
I have used Memento Inks for stamping and distressing the edges of the speech bubble and card.
As I did not have a die or a stamp, I created my own speech bubble. Isn't it great!!
I think the sentiment is fun...don't you?!
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy!!

Addicted to CAS challenge.

My second post for today...
My submission for the Addicted to CAS 'Spring' Challenge.
Here is what I have come up with...

I just love the cling rubber stamp set from Hero Arts called 'Trees of the Season'.
This is the first time that I have used this set and I really like the way this card has turned out.
As you can see, I have stamped the trees with Versamark embossing ink and and heat embossed them with Judikins clear embossing powder.
I then used Tim Holtz distress inks, Crushed Olive, Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Tea Dye and Dried Marigold to colour the images.
Just love the effect!!
The sentiment is also from Hero Arts is stamped with Memento inks, rich Cocoa.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy!!

Chevron and Other Challenges

I 've been struggling with this card for  a few days. It has turned out really nice though!
I am entering it for the Chevron Challenge, the Speech Bubble Challenge, and the emphasize the Negative challenge
at the wonderful Moxie Fab world!

Here, I did not have a speech bubble, so I cut an oval with my Spellbinders Nestabilities oval die and cut the little triangle out.
The chevron stamp is from Technique tuesday, and the sentiment stamp..as you can see, a current favourite...is from 7 Gypsies at Hampton Art.
The foam mounted Donuts are from hero Arts 'Have a donut' stamp set.
Inks are Angel pink and rose bud from Memento.
The donuts are coloured with Camel Artists water colour cakes and Staedler gel pens.
