Playing with Craftangles Christmas stencils

Hello!

Have you seen the amazing Christmas release stencils from Craftangles?

I had so much fun making these cards and tags using them!

For the first card, I have used the tree background stencil  and the starry background stencil  to create the background and the 

Christmas elements stencil for the focal image!

The sentiment is from the Craftangles 'Seasons Greetings' stamp set.

For the second card, I have used the 'Tree Background' stencil again and added avellum overlay with a heat embossed gold sentiment from the Craftangles 'Season's Greetings' stamp set.

I added a santa and sleigh die cut from Impression Obsesssion to complete the card.

For the third card, I used the Craftangles Plaid stencil over

Craftangles sky blue cardstock to create the background.

I then added a heat embossed sentiment from the 

Craftangles 'Seasons Greetings' stamp set.

I created a snowbank at the bottom of the card and added some Memory Box 'Tiny Village' die cuts and some Impression Obsession 'Christmas tree' die cuts to finish the card.

To create the first two tags below, I used the create the Craftangles Create a Scene stencil, and Tim Holtz distress inks.

I heat embossed the 'Seasons Greetings' sentiment to complete the tags.

I added a Martha stewart train die cut to this tag to create some interest.

For the two tags below, I used the Craftangles 'Skyline' stencil two ways. They were so quick and easy to make! I also used the Craftangles 'Snowflake' stencil to create a background. 

I added a sentiment from the Craftangles 'Seasons greetings' stamp set  and some pretty ribbon and twine to finish the tags.

I had a blast making these cards and tags!

Making Christmas cards using Craftangles Stencils

Hello!

As you can see, I have started making my Christmas cards well in time this year! 

Today, I am playing with five gorgeous stencils from Craftangles.

to start with, I used the 'Doodle around' stencil along with Memento summer sky ink to create a dreamy icy background for my skating girl (woodblock stamp from Studio G). 

I then stamped the image, 

coloured it and layered it using  Simon Says Stamp stitched square dies. 

I finished the card with a Christmas sentiment from Hero Arts and 

sequins from Craftangles.

The card base is from Letz Craft.

For the second card, I used the 'Flourish' stencil from Craftangles

along with Tim Holtz Broken China distress oxide and Chipped Sapphire distress ink to create a windy looking background.

I heat embossed a sentiment from Hero Arts onto a strip of vellum and adhered it to the panel.

I then stamped and cut out the bench and lamp (Lawn Fawn) out of card stock as well as foam (for dimension) and adhered this above the sentiment panel.

To finish the card, I added some Craftangles clear sequins.

The card base is 'Denim blue' card stock from Craftangles.

For the third card, I started out with the 'Argyle' stencil and Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.

I distressed the edges of all the panels used in this card, as well as the card base, using Vintage photo distress ink, to create a vintage look. 

I also distressed the edges of the nutcracker doll (from Unity Stamp company)

I then layered the simon Says Stamp stitched die cut panels and the fussy cut image.

To finish the card I added a fern die cut (impression obsession) and added a bit of 

MayArts jute ribbon.

For my fourth card, I drew inspiration from paintings of the northern lights on Pinterest.

I used the 'Paisley' stencil and Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Broken China, Picked Raspberries, Dusty concord, and Twisted Citron distress inks and distress oxides 

to create a look of the northern lights. 

I just love how this card turned out!!

I added some die cut silhouette Christmas trees from Impression Obsession 

a gold embossed sentiment  from Hero Arts, on a vellum panel 

and some Craftangles clear sequins to finish the card. 

The card base is 'Denim Blue' card stock from Craftangles.

For the fifth card, I used the "Floral Mesh" stencil from Craftangles along with 

Tim Holtz 'picked raspberries' and 'mowed lawn' distress inks.

I just love the bold colours. This is the first time I used a black card base, and I absolutely love it!!

For this card, I thought it best to just leave it with a simple gold embossed sentiment on a vellum panel and some gold sequins for interest.

The black card base is from Letz Craft.

Stamped and doodled deer

Hello!

I have three christmas mini notecards today, the inspiration for which was this image on instagram!

I used the deer stamp from Winnie and Walter's  'Winter Wonderland' Stamp set and using my Misti tool, I stamped the dear in pale shades of memento inks.

The inspiration design had an etched design on the deer, so I decided to recreate a similar design using my white Signo gel pen.

A cut square stitched dies using Simon Says Stamp dies and stamped the pine leaves (Winnie and Walter 'Winter Wonderland') on two of them and dry embossed the third.

I used Memento 'Summer Sky' ink around the edges and added some buttons and sequins(craftangles)

to add some interest.

I then adhered the deer to the panels (except card no 2..where I stamped the deer directly on the panel) and finished the cards by adhering the panels to a 3"x3" card base.

I absolutely love how they turned out!!

Today I have a Thank You card and tag that I made for my challenge blog

Paru's Card Making Challenges

I just love how this card turned out!!

I started by stamping the floral image from Craftangles 'Beautiful Bloom Border' stamp set in black and heat embossing it with a clear embossing powder.

I then watercoloured the background using warm fall colours.

Once the background was dry, I partially embossed the background using Cuttlebug 'swirls' embossing powder.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Winnie and Walter (which I did in two colours, using the Misti), and sequins from Craftangles and A1Craft supply.

For my tag, I started with a tag die cut from MFT. 

I then stamped the sentiment from Winnie and Walter (using Tim Holtz distress ink) 

repeatedly to create a background.

To create the focal image, 

I die cut the square stamp using a Cuttlebug die, 

and then stamped the floral image (source unknown) on it. 

After colouring and distressing using Tim Holtz distress inks,

I added some Craftangles sequins and some green ribbon to finish the tag.

Making Christmas cards using Craftangles Stencils.

Hello! 

Today I have a few Christmas cards which I have made using Craftangles stencils.

It was a lot of fun using them in different ways!!

For the first card, I created a background blending together Tim Holtz distress inks and Distress oxide inks on Craftangles grey cardstock.

I then used the Craftangles 'dots' stencil and Hero Arts Unicorn white ink to create interest.

I then added a birch trees die cut, Impression Obsession birds die cut and a torn piece of white paper to create the snow bank.

I finished the cards with Craftangles clear sequins.

I stamped the sentiment using a misti tool and two colours of Tim Holtz distress inks, one on top of the other.

For the second card, I stated by using the Craftangles stripes stencil, first in one direction and then in the opposite direction to create a checked pattern.

I do not have a poinsettia stamp, so I created the poinsettia flower using a single leaf from an old Stampendous stamp set. 

I stamped four leaves, masked them and then stamped them again to create the poinsettia.

I then embossed this flower with gold embossing powder, water coloured it, fussy cut it and popped it up on the background using 3D foam tape.

I added a wooden button in the centre for interest.

I heat embossed a sentiment from Hero arts and a swirl from a Hot of the Press stamp set.

I finished the card using Craftangles ruby red sequins and gold sequins.

For the third card, I stamped a plaid background onto red cardstock with black ink.

I then created a panel using Craftangles 'leaves' stencil  and Tim holtz distress ink.

and watercoloured some berries among the stencilled leaves.

I then matted this panel on green cardstock and then onto the black plaid bakckground. 

I added a stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on vellum 

along with some Craftangles sequins to finish the card.

For the fourth card, I created a simple red and white background using the Craftangles 'Stripes' stencil and Tim Holtz 'festive berries' distress ink.

I overlaid this background with a  vellum panel with a simple heat embossed christmas tree and sentiment from Hero Arts. I finished the card with some  red self adhesive gemstones to add some sparkle!

For the fifth card, I used the Craftangles 'Stripes' stencil again, 

this time with Tim Holtz 'Black Soot' ink. To create interest, I added some red lines using my red signo gel pen, in between the black stripes. 

I overlaid this panel with a vellum panel attached using black rivets.

I then stamped and die cut the images (Stampendous) and added them to the card using 3D foam tape. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment onto the vellum and popped up the entire panel using 3D foam tape onto a red cardstock panel and then onto a white card base.

I had a blast making these simple cards..

Playing with Craftangles diwali stamps and stencils

Hello!

I am so excited to be playing with my Craftangles DT pack this week!

I have used the 'Diwali wishes', 'Celebrating Diwali', 'Diwali Greetings' stamp sets and 

the 'Starry Lights' stencil and the Craftangles coloured Cardstock to make these cards.

For the first card, I have used hero arts neon inks with the Craftangles 'Starry Lights' stencil to create the background and to colour the diya. 

I added a gold embossed sentiment on vellum and used Craftangles Aqua cardstock as the cardbase to finish the card. 

Sweet and simple!

For the second card, I used the same stencil as above but used Tim Holtz 'Mustard seed' and 'Fired Brick' distress inks to create the background.

I popped up the water coloured and fussy cut family with foam tape, added the sentiment and then used Craftangles 'Navy Blue' cardstock to make the card base.

For my third card, I used a brick embossed card panel onto which I adhered the water coloured and fussy cut lamp. I then gold embossed and stamped the sentiment onto Craftangles 'Ruby Red' card stock and used the same card stock to make a card base too.

I don't usually use coloured card bases, but I am loving these cards from Craftangles. I have many more colours to play with so stay tuned!!

Wedding themed stamps from Craftangles

Hello!

I am absolutely thrilled to be playing with the newly released 

Wedding and Diwali themed stamps from Craftangles!

The first card is made using stamps from 

the 'Indian Wedding' stamp set and the 'Diwali wishes' stamp set.

 I used Tim Holtz 'dried marigold' distress ink and the ink smooshing technique to create the beautiful background. I then stamped the mandalas from the 'Diwali wishes' stamp set using 

Tim Holtz 'Spiced Marmalade' distress oxide to create a tone on tone look.

I stamped the focal image using Tim Holtz 'Vintage Photo' distress ink on smooth white cardstock and watercoloured the same using Sakura Koi watercolour cakes.

I then popped up the focal image using fun foam.

I finished the card by adding the gold embossed sentiment and some gold sequins.

For the second card, I started by creating the background by smooshing some Tim Holtz 'Black Soot' distress ink onto red cardstock. I did a couple of layers of ink smooshing and then stamped the mandala ( Craftangles 'Diwali wishes') using Versafine Onyx black ink.

I just love the depth this has created.

I then watercoloured the focal image  from the Craftangles 'Mr. and Mrs. 'stamp set using Sakura Koi watercolour cakes. I fussy cut the image and popped it up with some fun foam.

I finished the card by adding a white embossed sentiment on vellum.

For this card, I started with a background made using the 'Rays' stencil from Craftangles. In the centre, I stamped the OM (Mudra stamps) using Tim Holtz 'Fired Brick' distress ink.

I stamped, watercoloured (Sakura Koi watercolour cakes), fussy cut and popped up the Ganesh (Craftangles 'Ganpati Bappa' stamp set) with fun foam to add dimension.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Mudra Stamps and  'bumblebee yellow' sequins from Craftangles.

My final card, I am thrilled to say, turned out exactly as I planned it.

I created a shaker element by diecutting two circles and creating a ring using double sided foam tape. I filled this ring with large round gold sequins (to represent coins!)

I dry embossed the panel using a cuttlebug embossing folder.

I finished the card by adding the watercoloured (Sakura Koi watercolour cakes) image of Goddess Lakshmi from the Craftangles 'Shubh Laabh' stamp set.
